Effective sand molding requires consideration of several factors, such as selecting the right quality sand for molding, mixing sand with water and binder in the right ratio to achieve the desired strength and fineness. In addition, creating a stable mold and molding it tightly is also important to achieve accurate shapes and to withstand the pouring of materials effectively.

CNC And Simulation Program
• A machine that uses computer-controlled turning technology to produce precision and complex molds according to specified designs. CNC lathes help increase production efficiency, reduce errors from manual work, and can produce a large number of workpieces continuously while maintaining high quality.
• SKMT uses Magma to simulate and analyze the flow of metal in the mold, so that the manufacturing process can be improved and errors can be reduced. This program allows engineers to design and test production efficiently without having to conduct actual experiments in the factory.
Core Production
SKMT's core making process for iron castings emphasizes meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise dimensions and good surface quality to produce reliable cores. In addition, SKMT has an oven to help dry the cores completely and completely eliminate the generation of gas from the cores.

Siam Kubota Metal Technology Co., Ltd. established in 2010, invested by Siam Kubota Corporation Co., Ltd., a joint
venture between Kubota Corporation, Japan and Siam Cement Group. With the development of agricultural business
from the increasing use of agricultural machinery in Thailand, Siam Kubota Group established SKMT to produce cast iron
parts for tractors and agricultural engines for the Kubota Group, so that they can deliver tractors to Thai farmers better,
faster and at a more reasonable price.
SKMT produces large-size and high-precision casting parts, such as engine blocks, cylinder heads and gear cases, which
are the core of tractors and engines. We utilize the highly developed casting techniques cultivated for over 100 years at
KUBOTA Japan, a major agricultural producer in Japan, with the aim of overcoming the global food crisis, developing
Thai agriculture and contributing to a better quality of life for Thai farmers.
